Anybody use k1 moving bed filter?

Hey if you do and have egg crates laying around can you see if the k1 fits through the egg crates?

I use it on my 5000g Koi pond. Very expensive stuff. Seems to work nicely provided it doesn't get clogged with detritus.

Hey does it fit through no problem or just makes it? If it just fits I will get the larger size which is k2 however its not overly that big compared to k1...
