my current set up has one corner overflow. the tank is covered with a diy screen top that sits on top of tank frame.
i have three wrasse in the tank: orange sided, rosy scale, and lubbocks
all three have spent some time in the overflow and one managed ontop of the net cover. the rosy scale enjoys the overflow more than the rest of the tank. It is now in the overflow for the fourth time in just over a month. any suggestions on what if anything i can put in this area of the tank to prevent the fish from jumping in.... some initial aggression between the orange sided and lubbocks but its been several months and no recent issues that i have noticed. the rosy kind of does its own thing and pays no mind to the other two, but is pretty fierce come feeding despite being one of the smaller fish in the tank and holds its own easily. the other fish are two angels, foxface, bangaii cardinal, hippo tang, pair of clowns, and i might be missing something
i dont want to cover the opening on the overflow because the fish will dry up and die if im not home if and when it makes the leap!
