So cleaning out my 75g Deep Blue Rimless I laid the tank on its side to hard I'm assuming and about a 3-4 inche piece broke right off the lip of the tank. The rest of the tank is fine just wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them and what is recommended for repairing (gluing) the piece back?

It's a clean break. If I lay the piece where it should be you can hardly see it so I'm eager to fix it.

Thanks guys

I would just buy a new tank. 75's are not too expensive, especially considering the cost of the rest of the livestock and equipment (not to mention the cost/safety issues of when the tank cracks while full). Having that piece gone will really weaken the tank, even if you try and glue something else there.

I suggest you buy a new tank. That is not a simple chip, that's a problem that can easily spider web down from pressure.

The only other option is replacing the front pane which is a lot of work and IMO not worth the effort.
