So I have a 220g in my house waiting to be cleaned and setup. I need recommendations for an external pump. I going to be running a chiller, uv, phosbans. So I'm going to need a good gph pump that can run all that's going to be hooked up to the tank. Also I was thinking of going with 2 wp60's. What yall think?

Question, what's the best way to upgrade my 60g to a 220g without killing my sps?

Can u set up 220 fully then transfer or is the 220 going in same spot as 60

My plan is putting the 220 in the 60 place. I can struggle to move the 60 some where else to keep it running though

Lol, the plumbing and everything is going to be easy. I was trying to figure out how should I transfer the corals over being how it's going to be 160g extra

Hey bro. Dont make the same mistake i did. I upgrade feom 72 to 150 n use a lot of new made water. Bad idea. I lost 75% of my sps.
I would try and move the 60 (if the 220 is going in the same spot) and let it cycle completely and then Do ur transfer. Gd luck.

Yea I'm just going to do my weekly water changes on both my 60g's and dump it in the 220.

are you going to be adding new rock to the 220 tank ? if so will you use live rock , or cured dry rock? if you don't want to lose sps then deff make sure all params are in line before the switch.

My plan is to use live rock. I have a brute container that I'm going to be using to cycle the rocks I get in the next couple weeks.

I was thinking of going with a 75g sump for my 220g. But after watching videos about using biopellets, i'm thinking of going with a 40g breeder. what yall think?

You should go with with a larger sump then a 40 breeder. Id consider using a 150 has a sump and plumb in a 40 breeder as a fuge/cryptic zone or just a fuge.
