The sound of one hand clapping

I have just installed my ehiem 1260 and i am blown away by how silent it is. The only thing i can hear is the faint sound of water dropping an inch over the overflow. I never thought a reef tank could be so quiet, and the wife is suitably impressed too! its worth every penny of the $120 i paid for it.

Nice to know. I heard it's pretty quiet pump but I didn't know how much. I should put eheim pump on my next tank. Thanks.

great news to know. my Mag7 could give a leaf blower a run for the money.:irked: The equivalent Eheim pump was out of stock when I was buying my stuff.

that is great news. i'm going to install my sump soon and i've got an eheim 1260 in the box and never tested it. Now i'm eagerly looking forward to it.
