I can't speak about the security of the website, but the company is VERY shady.

I submitted a google review a few years ago, but I see they somehow deleted all their negative reviews (which were plentiful), and hired some other "rating" company to handle their reviews in google results (paid ads). Must've "closed" the old business or something and opened a new one, idk. In order to get any customer service I had to go all the way to the manufacturer, even though the item shipped broken. TBA was an *** about the whole situation after weeks of blatant ignoring. The manufacturer was irate that this guy wouldn't do anything to help me, because clearly it was his fault.

I spent over 5 grand in a month with TBA on LEDs, etc. I will NEVER order anything from this guy again (dummy, I've spent about 20k more). I am sure there are still horror stories about the terrible customer service, but they are being suppressed.

People wouldn't post these things to these blogs for their own health, I have no motivation for this post other than to warn fellow reefkeepers of an awful company. Will you save money from TBA? Yes. Will something inevitably be wrong/broken and then have the blame shifted to you? Yes, no doubt, in time. If you're going to use this guy, make sure to use an AMEX card so he can fight them instead of you when he rips you off.

I would be more worried about a post like yours with no ratings and the first post on this site happens to be bashing a Vendor and a supporter of MR,

Personally have used them many times, and a few large purchases and never have had an issue and have had my products the next day.

That's fine, take my word as you wish. Do yourself a favor and research the company that is providing the current TBA's reviews. They get paid to manage "negative reviews." Why not use Google, you ask? Because those are honest reviews.

Nasty comment? Did you even read this thread! From jumpstreet dude was trashing one of our vendors. No "hi I'm so n so and this the tank I got" NO, this is obviously a troll to the tenth power. This thread should be deleted. OR.... We should add a rip off report thread/forum where people can settle their differences. My 2 cents. ..

the guy has 2 posts in this thread and you refer to him as a troll.
he didn't start this thread, he just added to it.
and because some one is a vendor on here does not make them a good vendor.
i am not bashing tba, i have dealt with them in the past with no regrets.

I have good and bad reviews with them. I have order a few times from them and always something small and nothing major for the aquarium but 1 time i did order and it took about a week or so to get the item and when I did get it the bottle was broken and I needed to wait another week or so to get it replaced. They did replace it but it took about 2 weeks to get. Most of the time I order from them its next day or day after

C'mon man 2 posts and they both bash somebody, because I assume TBA or whoever isn't a robot. That's not what I like to see. One of the all time best quotes. FWIW I have not had any issues with TB Aquatics. Also have a Target card and Home Depot card so I do have issues elsewhere.
