dotty back and mystery wrasse

Will they play nice the dotty is already in the tank 40 gal tank. Im looking to add another fish. What other fish can I add with dotty back ..its not aggressive to the other fish in the tank but it did finally kill the linear blenny,which wasn't no chump either I like the wrasse but not sure because it patrols the rocks which the dotty is really protective of,dont wanna ditch the dotty either had it for a year now.
