I am contemplating atarting vodka dosing. My NO3 is currently 1-2ppm and PO4 0.00-0.10 if it gets exhausted and notice algae begin to grow.
I am probably going through 500ml of ROWAPHOS every 2 months. 30something dollars
vodka dosing would reduce that cost substantially but would add on another part of my dosing.
I currently dose 2 part daily, reef energy a&b, mag 1 week after w/c as well as coral amino. I feed phytofeast probably once a week as well.
I was hoping to get a doser in the next month so I can stop the requirements of manually dosing, PITA!
I know there are some of you have already passed this stage in your reef keeping so I would like your advice and experience.
I currently have a thriving tank with great growth in my zoas and PE throughout my sps. Yet, I would like to reduce cost and possibly the need to dose.
