besides max reefs in yonkers can anyone suggest another lfs or online store that sells saltwater fish for a decent price? They must be healthy, no ich and eating. I am looking for a purple tang, a small-medium sohal tang, possibly a red sea regal angel. Pretty much any reef safe fish that is bright, beautiful and has a personality. Or if anyone has these or knows someone who has these to sell please let me know

It would be tough to beat Max Reefs pricing!... Online it's not possible to be sure that the fish is 'healthy, no ick and eating'...(Sure, they offer a 'guarantee', but) ... There are other vendors, here, that would be much better choices than online, just depends how far you want to drive !

Sohol can be very aggressive, RS Regal is not usually an easy fish to get to survive, you really should see it is eating, first/in person!

thanks for the heads up alfie. travel is not a big deal to me you know that. came all the way up there for some rocks. yes I have read up on the sohal some. I figured as much. He will just have to be the king of the castle like I am. psssh I wish

yeah I might have too. I should of jumped on it when they had the black friday deals. forgot how much the purple tangs were then but I know they had the sohal for $80. the red sea regal angels were cheap also but they didn't have many. I guess I will have to wait till they relocate soon and catch the moving sale or the grand opening sale

i would stick with maxium reef and dont worry about the black friday sale he will have another one soon and his prices are always cheap anyway i go to alot of petstores in every different area if am in that area and by far they r the cheapest and yes ralphy will order fish for you. I heard the new store might be in hunts point dont hold me to that tho lol

Max Reef is the best,, and everyone there owns at least 1 tank,, I've gotten such bad advice from more expensive stores.
