Ati t5 color combo

Calling all t5 pros I need your opinion I'm ordering the ati led powermodual want to know the best bulb color combo
My friend has a 6 t5s in his sea max and I really like his color this is his bulb setup is
Blue+
Blue+
Purple+
Coral+
Blue+
Blue+

But my fixture is only 4 bulbs
I was thinking blue+purple+coral+blue+
That's taking out one blue+ on each end what do you guys think ???

You might be OK with just 3x Blue+ and 1x Coral+. I'd get the Purple+ and an extra Blue+ and play around, but give yourself a few days to a week to get used to it and see if you like the colors before you switch it.

Either way your corals will be happy and grow. It's a matter of what looks best to you, which is 100% personal. I'm still messing around with my bulb arrangement and am going to change again this weekend, but I'm a lunatic

I use 5 blue + and 1 coral +. POP.

when i had my 4 bulb i used 3 blue plus and 1 purple plus. i now have an 8 bulb that i use 5 blue plus, 2 purple plus and 1 coral plus. i am also thnking about going back to a 4 bulb with the above combo and using some led strips( either reefbrites or wingo grand slam bars).

perfect combo. you can do 3 blue+ and purple+ or your combo you said. that is what mee and gab had awesome growth on the 4bulb.

IMO i think purple+ is better from me watching over the tanks. It was a 4bulb fixture my girl bought from jaftica, the reflectors were not the best but a damn good fixture, we used 3blue+ and 1Purple+ for a while then if im not mistaken we used to do 2Blue_ 1 coral+ 1Purple+ But then went back to the other idea we did.


now we are running a ATI fixture 8bulb sunpower module. Brand new fixture. everything about this fixture is awesome. she and i love it. :d

I run a 6 bulb 39w ATI powermodule and go with below ATI bulbs configuration
front to back. Gives a nice 12k look. If you want a 14-17k look replace coral plus for a blue plus, ive done that as well.

It all depends what's in the tank and the look u prefer.

Zoa, softies, LPS all look fine under blue and purple bulbs.

SPS you will need some whites to see some of the colors show.
