Looking for stronger return pump

Looking to get a stronger return pump, as I am adding a 30 gallon tank to my 90. I currently run a eheim 1060 which feeds two reactors.


I want a return strong enough that I do not need to add a powerhead to the 30 gallon.


what pump seems feasible?


Eheim 1262
Mag 12 or 18
Jebao 9000 or 12000

Eheim's run silent, cool and forever. Trust the Germans when it comes to pumps.

I love my Eheim just concerned about the flow, I saw online I can upgrade my pump to a 1262 by upgrading the impeller housing.

Yup. I had a 1260, turned it into a 1262 with this:

If the 1262 isn't enough then you'll have to consider your options. If you need more flow you need more flow. I'd rather more reliable pumps (German, Italian) than more made in china junk that's going to melt or just break down.

I've also used a Sicce that was quite solid.

jebao dc 12000 i have it and love it super quiet and strong i run it at 3 out of 6

im using 1262 and have been happy with it for past year or so. i swApped the blowhole for the eheim

I run a jebao 9000 on my 120 and 30 gl sump. Jebao 12000 will def do it for u broh. And is super silent too

I have both a 1262 and mag 18..
The 1262 is much quieter and runs cooler the the mag..
