Harlequin should eat them. As far as I know nothing else does. Possibly a nardoa starfish will eat them but its not confirmed and i cant find that starfish anyway.

I spent a few days netting them from the glass. A few days if that really made an impact. I have much less now.

LOL! Here goes Ledreef looking to kill something again.

Ledreef, I used to have them as well. Never bothered anything in my tank but my Hippo tang and Yellow tang loved to eat them and haven't seen them in years.

just pluck them out by hand in the mornings, they crawl to the top of the glass, siphon out when doing water changes.

In two weeks you can make a severe dent on the population.

I killed most of them before learning that there is bad asterina and peaceful scavanger asterina.

I am still not sure what kind you have, micro serpent starfish or asterina. If its asterina take that shrimp back to the store and tell the manager he sold you a vegetarian and exchange it, Harle shrimp eat asterina, its the primary reason hobbyist buy that shrimp.
