Size of bulk heads

So I needed to know if you guys can help wanted to know the size of the bulkheads to a 180 6 foot tank it looks like it has one bulkhead smaller then another am guessing 1 in but could be wrong marine land brand let me know

How many bulkheads you have in total as per your description one seems to be return which is smaller in size and bigger one is drain....

4 holes on total so it's making a bit more sense so what size are they I want to replace them

remove the bulkhead, if their is one in the hole and measure the hole.

i wouldn't want to guess the size and then you have the wrong one.
shut off return pump, then syphon out one or both over flows if they look like different sizes. all so syphon a little out of tank, so it doesn't drip into over flow. then you can remove the bulk head to measure.
i would say their 1" because i have a marine land 300 and their all 1" bulk heads, i think is a 1 1/2" hole

Silicone is not recommended on bulkheads

yes 2 drains, 2 returns all 1" bulk heads.

I don't think that I've ever heard differently! I would think that silicone doesn't make a good seal between glass and 'plastic/PVC', and is probably too thin when fitting is tightened.
The gasket is the only thing to use, and just a 1/4 turn past 'hand tight'
