No not hair plugs. I have a bucket of water sitting under my desk for WC. There is a pump and a heater in it and I had them unplugged. While doing a WC I tried to move the cords out of the way ( stupid mistake, next time I will just take them away from the area all together ) and I dropped the plugs into the bucket. Is tap water ok to rinse them with, or does it have to be RO ?

Like the others said rinse with tap to remove any salt, then dry and you should be good to go. These are solid molded plugs, right? If not you will need to disassmble the plug to make sure you have all the salt and water out of them.

rinse them off, dry them and you will be fine. Quite honestly, I have dropped plugs in saltwater, dried them off and plugged them back in no problems. Probably not the best practice, but it is what my lazy ass has done in the past.
