Algae Scrubber

I build many Algae Scrubber.
Never got good success, only brown stuff, I guess works good when got a high level of phosphate.

no, never try, but I like the idea, save space on sump + NO pump (save $ on electr, bill):smile:

If that's all you need, might as well drop screen vertically in the sump and hang a light behind it. Or do it in the over flow box or trickle filter. Then if its that simple, might as well substitute the screen for some macro algae, which you can harvest without removing the whole screen.

I actually have macro in the sump and I still get green on the glass. Not a lot but its there.
