Reefkeeper alc or ai director

Looking into getting a acl module for my reefkeeper elite net or the ai director to get control of my sol blues from my phone . I hear good and bad from both any suggestion ? Anyone using one of them?.. And I know I should just dump the rke for an apex ... But not doing that yet thanks

I have an ALC on an RKE for my retro'd LED kit, so not much help here for your SOLs. You won't be able to use the Director with your Sols unless you also spring for the wireless adapters.
With the ALC, it looks like you have to cut your data cable in order to wire them onto DA's wire interface. That alone would make me go the other direction plus there's not that much flexibility with them, just a maximum 240 minute ramp time.

Yeah not to happy about splicing cables and the controllablity isn't as good as the director . I'm leaning to the ai ..... Anyone know how the app is for the director ?

I have the director it works great a lot of options and easy to program they have an app for the iPhone but none for Android yet the phone app is ok nothing great
