Radion moon phase question

Hi, I ran my lights and noticed that they went off at 1am... I want to use the moon phase option, do I need to set up night time schedule points and will they strengthen and weaken depending on the moon phase? As scheduled right now (started with high color preset and tweeked it to be in the middle of high growth and high color) it didn't seem to have anything at night. Thanks for the advice in advance!
