Hello all,
This is my first post, have been lurking for months and learned so much.
So, I recently got a Red Sea Max 130D off a fellow member who updated the lighting to Steve's LEDs in August, the pre-built model. The blue LEDs in the fixture stopped working recently and when I got the tank home the whites never turned on, either. The fans in the fixture went out with the blues. I think I saw the whites flash for a millisecond the other day but could have imagined it
.
Anyway, does this mean I have a short in the wires? Or could it be the controller is bad? I'm assuming this issue is not permanent and can be fixed but I know nothing about electrical equipment so what do you guys suggest I do?
Also, if Steve's LEDs doesn't fix it (currently wrangling with them; they have no warranty) then would someone be willing to take a look or refer me to someone who could help me?
The tank is up and running but I can't put anything in it!
Until I can get some lights going I'll be imagining it's a deep sea tank or some sort of sea cave haha
Thanks very much for your help!
