I know this is a topic that has been discussed at length but I'm looking for a recipe for DIY food. I recently purchased some tilapia as an experiment, cut it up and my fish and coral loved it.
I also tried shrimp but they didn't wen touch the stuff.
Now I want to go all in with some tried and true stuff.
I hear tilapia, clam, and squid is good.
Any other suggestions?

I usually blend shrimp, clams, mussels, squid and scallops with fresh garlic and chopped algae sheets. When I thaw the food I add some vitamins like Vita chem or Selcon. All of my fish got hit with ich really bad right after I added a PBT and after using my "special" blend they are very healthy again.

i use clams, squid, shrimp and fillet of fish i catch.
i wouldn't use talapia especially for your own consumption. most of it is imported and they feed them pig and chicken feces, so the fish are loaded with antibiotics and fat. they said your better off eating a cheese burger.

Vitamins are important. Rotifers, pre made coral stuff like coral smoothy. Check out the ingredients on the label or rods or LRS.

Okay, so I settled on tilapia. Salmon. Shrimp. Clams. Oyster feast. Seaweed. Flakes. Garlic. And vitamins.
I think I may have blended it too much. Not many chunks and it clouds up my water.
But my fish absolutely love whatever chunks there are.
