What gender clowns do I have ???

OK here the deal I have a trio of clowns that lately are constantly laying eggs and me and my boy trinimaddness was debating on weather it's 2 males and a female or is it 2 females and one male ???i think with the amount of eggs they lay it have be 2 female what does the rest of Mr thinks

I think they way its supposed to happen is one female and two males. Obviously mother nature does her own thing so the other combo is likely but possible. Whats the size breakdown? From all I've seen thats the only indicator on sexing them. Maybe theres other ways though..

Were they put in the tank at the same time as juveniles? Clowns are sequential hermaphrodites, it would be 1 female and 2 males, unless they were added into your tank as 2 female/1 male.

Nah the mocha is like 5 years old and the b/w are 4 and 3 year so they we added in sequence

I say (one female two males )or (one female one male and a no gender).

Are the eggs all in one spot? If you are finding them in multiple spots I would guess two females. That is nothing more then just a guess.

mocha is your female as that would be the biggest one. Biggest one becomes female, the rest stay male. until the female dies, you'll have a harem

I say one female, one male, and the third could be another male or still a juvi. Do you have a video of the female spawning? Is the third clown allowed to come around the eggs?

All 3 chill the hostedmy a bunch of crap together anenome/duncan/hammer just about all the corals in my tank and they Def all play with the egg all 3 them and trust and believe no other fish is allow in that corner Not even the tangs ...my mocha is almost 5 inches

Everyone else is waiting there tern to be the dominant male and female
I have multiple skunk clowns in one tank the male and female chase the rest out of the way after the eggs are laid . I also have a trio like you there is always one clown left out , waiting for the chance. There is a good read out there called clownfish by joyce Wilkerson . I think dubs English is fine . LOL
