Has anyone ever used this product called nitra-guard bio cubes v4? Looks very promising for someone dealing with nitrate issues. Looks kinda pricey though. What's your thoughts?

Yo B! Send me some info on your set. Video if you can swing it. Im really surprised you have not knocked that down yet. Vodka dude is all you really need if you dont have too many fish, you do regular WC, and your skimmer/ sump is performing well. (wifey is probrably feeding to see movement in the tank) Over feeding...

Thanks Troy. I pretty much have the nitrates under control now. Still dealing with a little phosphate problem but that will be taken care of when I find/get a new reactor. I was just seeing if anyone had ever used this stuff. Supposed to have great reviews. Would be good for anyone dealing with nitrate issues. Little expensive if you ask me but the stuff is supposed to work for months

OK. I say vodka dosing all the way! Once you lock in the right amount its clear sailing!

I think vodka dosing is a great idea. I just don't want to be dosing something everyday if I don't have to. I might miss a day since I work so much. When you get a chance send me a link on the dosage schedule. I know you have to increase it gradually until you find that happy medium
