Separate Tools for QT?

I wonder....When you are treating for a contagious disease in your Quarantine Tank, do you need to use separate maintenance tools for the QT and the main tank? - like separate hose, cleaning sponges, in short, everything you need for cleaning the tank and water changes.
Has anyone managed to transfer a disease from the QT to the main tank through the use of tools? :irked:

You should seperate all your filter and stuff from the QT from the main tank if possible. But as long as you clean off the equipment, and haven't used it in a tank with copper in it, there really isn't any reason not to use the equipment in your main tank. Just clean it really good in hot water and you should be fine.

Remember a QT setup is really basic, you don't need anything special. You just some thing to move around the water,like a small filter, Power Head or an air stone and air pump and maybe a heater and that's about it. You may also want to put in a rock or some pvc so the fish have a place to hide.
