Anyone used coralife uv as a hang on in the wet and dry filter?

I have a coralife uv and I used to have it inline in the return hose. I took it out when I changed my aquarium set up. Wondering if anyone have used it as a hang on in a wet and dry system or as a hang on and what success rate.

I don't see why it won't. I just l leave mine on the gound next to the wet dry.

I wanted to do a water change the other day and couldn't fin my tube. I had to borrow it from my UV. I normally will have the UV on the floor and a tube going into the HOB filter which has chemi pure. Since I took the tube I just put the UV up like that. My return pipe goes into the skimmers. The skimmer goes into the uv then chemical filtration then into my tank.
