Not an expert, but IMO if it has a center brace leave it, if it's broken replace it... Maybe you could eliminate it if you add eurobracing, but that seems like a lot of extra work!

Are you referring to glass/euro bracing, or plastic trim... Pics?

Is the black plastic bracing but it's a custom tank

I would leave that brace be, the annoyance of working around it isn't that bad compared to the catastrophe that could happen if you take it off and it bows out... Your dimensions aren't that far off a standard 75 which also needs a brace.
