skimmer microbubbles

how can i reduce the skimmer microbubbles in my tank. I have a coralife 125 g skimmer. Connected to the back of my tank. the output goes into the tank in this small filter type cartidge. It overflows micro bubbles in my tank. any suggestions on how to minimize this.

how long has the skimmer been running... because once its dialed in and been running for a while the microbubbles will be reduced....

also i would contact (spykes) send him a pm see if he no's any secrets or tips on the skimmer he ran one i think the 65 as well...

Its been running for a week straight.

give it some time... usually skimmers could take up to 2-4 weeks to officially break in...

are you using the little black box w/ the filter pad in it, which come w/ the ksimmeer? also try cutting the flex tubing out take back a little bit.

Yes I am using the box with filters in it. The gray tube is a little long so I put it out to the side. I will cut the tube tomorrow. But as for now I made sure it is one inch from the bottom like the manual says. The fish dont seem to mind the Micro bubbles but They just look horrible. Thanks for the advice.

yea i understand what ur going thru, mine did the same thing. I cut the tube and once it broke in i never had a problem. took about 2 weeks.
