Are you giving it a grade of F-? Lol I just bought a small one I'm going to try to utilize somehow. Might put it in a mini hang on filter on my sump. I think it should be good, if it's designed to be better than chemipure elite.

The blue is a lot more dusty then the elite. It also has differences in the GFO I just forgot what is was. I thing blue had white GFO and elite brown. I also notice elite everything is mixed well. With the blue the charcoal and the white beads were separated. I wasn't sure if I should mix it up. I have elite in my tank downstairs so I will get a comparison picture for you. Here is how the blue looks.

As for my tank perimeters they are the same as usually. I have noticed no change. My water clarity, fish and coral also seem the same.

It's not $40. I got mine at aquarium village for $15. That is the large one.

Dr.foster and smith sells them cheap, I run the elite in my nano. Anyone with a nano should ahev chemi pure elite, purigen and filter floss it is by far the cheapest and most effective way to run a nano.
