Question Re:Temp Probe Calibration

I have used three different thermometers to check temp in my tank so I can calibrate my Aquacontroller temp probe. I even used a food probe. All three gave me different readings. What thermometer are using to read temperatures in your tank and how accurate are they.

i use a high quality mercury thermometer to calibrate my temp probe.

I use a hand held IR laser temp checker to calibrate my temp probes
(very accurate)
