Has anyone ever use nutri natural seawater? I need to set up a QT ASAP and it seems the quickest way is to purchase and use this water. Supposedly do not need to cycle and its quick and easy. What do you guys think about it?
Thanks.

Well the problem is there is an ich outbreak in my DT tank.. I mean this may sound stupid but the ich is already in the water so why would I use water from my DT? I am setting up the QT to treat some with copper.

I sometimes use Nutri Natural Seawater from time to time when I am short on time to mix NSW and need a jug or 2 right away. I keep 1 jug around in case of emergencies. It's great water. I notice my anemone emits some really nice colors when I use it. Wish I could use it all the time but it costs $ and not easy to transport (bad knee).

When I get my QT tank I think to get it going I am going to use this water as it is only a small 12 gallon, but it will do the job.. Phoenix, where do you buy the jugs from? I see they have 4g jugs and 2.2 g jugs.
Thanks.

Just for my own noledge. If you use ick infested warer and treat with coper. Wont the coper kill the ick spores. Or do they have to hatch and or infect a fish to be killed by the coper solution?

I used it to start my 14 gallon biocube and use it for water changes all the time. I cycled for a week testing every day and no parameters changed so I went ahead and started stocking. I really like it. It's really easy and my tank is doing great. My Duncans are growing new heads weekly my frogspawn split into 2 heads. Everything seems super happy and healthy.

Yeah I hear nothing but good about it, its just a little expensive. Im using as a QT tank anyways, so nothing will be in it besides fish here and there. I heard there really is no cycle for it, they say you can stock right away. And if phos is high that's the least of my worries lol I have natural phosphate reducer anyways.

I have been using it close to 3 years now. I used to test every batch when I was running my prior Sps tank and I was very happy with the results for a long time. At one point, I ran into some unexplainable diatom outbreaks that would not stop over a few months, I stopped using the water, increased water changes, added special blend to my weekly maint, an changed gfo more frequent and it was gone.

Was it the water? Possibly - but I didn't have a phosphate issue.

We came to the conclusion that it could have been possible silicates.

But there could be So many possible reasons. Been running it for a year on my nano and it's doing great. Weeeeeee

Yeah I mean I have heard more good about it then bad to be honest. I was going to use it for my QT tank so I would not be taking that much of a risk by using it with a smaller tank. Think I am going to try it out and see what happens.
