T4 Lighting for Reefing

Any info about T4 would be greatly appreciated.

T4 lighting is being referred to as microflourescent lighting.

The 'standard' for flourescent bulb diameters is T8. This is a 1" diameter bulb.

The way this works is like this:
T8 = 8/8 = 1"
T12 = 12/8 = 1.5"
T5 = 5/8 = 5/8"
T4 = 4/8 = 1/2"

Some general T4 info can be found here. I have not heard anything about them being used in the aquarium trade yet. I'm sure that will be down the road too . Seems to me it would be similar to the T5 craze. You can fit more bulbs in the same amount of space, thereby generating more lumen, lux, par, etc.
