Hi everyone! First post here and I have a rather techie question. I am currently running an LED on my 20long qt tank. I have 10 cree xte royal blue at 1300mA, 12 6k cree xpg2 running at 1300 mA and 2 uv running at 350mA. These are on a 10x6 heatsink with 1 fan. For my next build I would like to run the same heat sink but with 12 phillips es royal blue at 700 mA. The reason is they output the same amout of light radiometrically but much more efficeintly so and have a 450 spike instead of the 460 spike of the cree. The royal blues are a no brainer.

My problem are the white. If I use phillips at 700mA they output 1/2 of the crees at 1300mA. Do i simply double my number of leds to match the same lumen output? Can I even use the lumen output as a baseline for the light output? What about using 5k instead of 6.5k whites as some recommend? Lime? 410 uv 420 uv? Cyan? Blue? I wont put red in again. GHA showed up when I tried one of those. All suggestions welcome. I have a feeling Im buying a par meter and experimenting.
