Excellent salt.. Pros mixes very easy and no cloudy water. Very clear and polished water. Can be added when salinity is right. Which means very fast. Cons none... Except for me price went higher and is hard to get from my LFS. Online price went up too. Some might say the mixing was a pain. But that didn't bother me. If you can get it easy and it's in your budget it's excellent salt.

Tagging along to learn more. I don't have any specific feedback on ESV salt since I've never used it. But I did purchase 2 box of it a couple of weeks ago and I'm not sure what to do with it...lol

Seriously, I haven't read up as yet on best practices on how to mix it. With IO Reef Crystals I had a methodological system of making water and mixing.

Sometimes you get what you pay for.

It's worth the price for the quality.

I hear this vomit all the time.
Have you done any test ?
Has anyone done test comparing the "quality" to other salts if so I would like to read that study.

Let's be honest ESV is a salt that has it's components mixed separately to prevent settling that's it!

Just so you don't have to roll your bucket just incase of anything settling if it has been sitting on a LFS shelf for a long period of time.
Let's not make our selves feel better by vomiting what we heard someone ells say to justify the cost;)

I bet 90% of all tank of the month threads I read use IO salt lol
