Refractometer Question?

Been a while since I check my refractometer. Are you using Refractometer solution to check it. Or distiller water or something else.

I use the pinpoint salinity solution sold by BRS for calibration.

Solution that came with my refractometer. I do it once every 1-2 months.

It seems its where you store your refacto because I calibrate it every time I use it and it requires some adjustment. 1 drop of liquid before the test doesn't hurt.

I read a thread dispelling the solution. I use RODI water and calibrate to 0

I do both the RO and the BRS solution test. The only time I get a false reading is if there was any salt creep on there.

Used calibration solution when I used the handheld refractometer. Now RODI water on digital refractometer as manufacturer suggested.
