How long, do you think, a photosynthetic gargonian can go without light?

Ok. Well given this tank has been nothing but a nightmare and its only a few months old, I now need to try a hydroid treatment. Someone recommended I try hydrox from this woman in the south who breeds seahorses. In order to treat I need to remove most of my corals, thankfully its not much, mostly zoa's, one gargonian and a monti-cap.

The treatment takes 7-8 days. Guess I'll see what happens.
