[l Morphine]

I have a coralife aqualight pro 36inches. I want to upgrade the bulbs. Do you guys have any recommendations? The bulb is 150 watts. Thanks!

Dbl end hqi bulbs right? a Lotta options personally I use phoenix 14ks (pretty popular) but xm, ushio, radium(recommend), I've also used and personally like. I don't know if your supplementing or the appearance you like for your tank but do some research, each company bulb runs a bit different in appearance even though they share the same Kelvin rating. For instance a 14k phoenix maybe more blue than a 20k megachrome (just using names, may not be in actuality)

Well this particular fixture has 2 power compacts which I am running 2 blues in right now. The bulb that was in this fixture when I bought it was a coralife. Garbage...

If you're supplementing with actinic blue then go with the 14K Phoenix bulb for metal halide.
What type of coral are you mainly try to keep in your aquarium?

Btw, how many gallons is the tank and how deep is it?

It's a 30gallon breeder so it's only 12 inches deep. It's gonna be alot of light. I had full spectrum leds on the tank but I didn't like the artificial light and the spillover.

This is true, i use to have 2x 150w of these and was getting good growth and color
