Battery back up dead or what....

I brought yesterday a battery back up for my pumps,so when connect the the first time show a green light ,that suppose red but I left to charged,so this morning I gonna test and doesn't work ,one more think the date the manufact was in February ,2010 ,that it the problem with the battery,is old ,I gonna return it ,thanks for hearing ,any comments I'll apreciate ...thanks

What make and model is the battery back up? Also, where was it purchased?

I almost sure that its just the battery. Even in the majority of back-up battery units you'll have to swap out the battery once in a while.
But if you purchased this thing new, they should replace the whole unit and nothing less. Lol

Just bring it back , solid people and solid return policy .

My charger light is always red but the backup does work. Recently had it going for 6.5 hours on two MP40s.
