Hello!

I have two lettuce nudibranchs that have been making a lot of egg rings. I don't know what the right terms are here but anyhow- I noticed a few of the egg rings disappear and today I saw what I think are larvae moving around.

Does anyone know if these are in fact nudibranch larvae?

Does anyone know how to help them survive?

Thanks!!

Yes that's a egg case, and that little guy could be a lettuce nudibranch. They breed easily enough, but they need to eat a certain type of algae, incorporate the chloroplast, before they will survive. Bryopsis.according to websites.
I had them before but don't remember what the little guys look like. The egg case I do remember.
