Hey Everyone,
Im almost done setting up my 150 gallon tall tank which originally was going to be for freshwater but now heading for saltwater. I have a laguna 2400 pump that I purchased months ago for this job. So my return pump is rated at almost 1800 GPH after head height. Will that be a problem? Im not running a fugue.. just filter sock, skimmer and moving bed filter.
Or should I try to sell this pump and get the mag 12 rated at 800 GPH after head height of the tank...?
In fresh the more the turnover rate was better...but now I think it maybe to strong for salt...opinions appreciated. If tis not a problem than all I need to do is hook up the return pump and overflow and finally can put water.
