So after the blanket blackout had no effect on my turf algae problem, I've decided to try another route. Did some reading about dosing H202, ive used it to dip frags befor, and decide to give it a try.
(I have already addressed the root of the problem. My RO/di filters have all been changed, gfo, filter socks removed, weekly WCs of 30%, the tank is lightly stocked, mostly LPS and softies, I feed lightly every other day). My lights, (4x 54w t5's) are on for 8hrs everyday.
I started today with 1ml/10g. I noticed micro bubbles forming on the algae beds. See how it goes with this.
Anyone ever dosed H2O2 have any tips/experience to share?
