Something white underneath my frogspawn

I have a frogspawn on a rock of mine. I just noticed something white and fuzzy almost like cotton but not as thick underneath my frogspawn. I'm not able to upload/download pics so I'm hoping someone has a idea of what I am talking about

wow. all of these coral experts and no one has even a slight idea of what this is or could be? I know its hard to tell without pics but I was hoping someone would give some input

Harmless and beneficial filter feeder. Their populations will come and go.
