Will it diffuse light too much? My PIA Damsel is becoming aggresive with my clowns and I found my Maine Blizzard on the carpet this morning. I was able to get her back in the tank with no problem. I want to put something over the tank so it doesn't happen again but I don't want to diffuse the light to much. Thanks in advance.

IMOP yes its ok in a emergency but I would do this

The only thing is it would be for a BioCube 29. Not sure if they make one that size. Or I could just cut up the old hood to make something work with screen material

Why not go to home depot and buy some birds net from garden section... Then buy the frame it will cost you around $15 and will last forever lols

I'm not sure of the 'hole size' on bird netting, might be too large to keep fish in...1/4" is probably maximum safe size

They sell the smaller hole bird netting. If you are ever down this way I will give you enough. Look up KathyC's thread on making them with round edges.
