Zoas stronger than you think

Did a big re arrange of the tank I redid all the rock work and tosses stn stuff and changed a majority of the water. I had a rock full of those neon green zoas I had no where for this rock so I tosses it in a bucket and siphoned the tank into that bucket. I forgot to dump the bucket and 2 weeks later they are still alive and still green they are somewhat extended. A bucket with old tank water and no nothing. It almost makes me question some things we do to our tanks if these things are still kicking.

you have to think that the temp as be around 80 so that was in your favor. I think if it was 30 degrees or a 100 it would be a different story my friend.

I had rock in a tank that was 60 degrees no water movement no lights for at least 6 months. I put the rock in a container and cycled them again for 2 months, put them in my new tank and out popped my purple mushrooms.
