I know red mangroves can be kept in salt, brackish and fresh water. But my question is can they be raised in one and then moved to the other. For example I was thinking about getting some propagules and growing them in fresh water and then once they grow big enough and my new refuge is ready put them in there. Can this be done? or once they are placed in one kind of water they develop for that kind of water?
