protein skimmer question

im looking to make an fish only 150 gallon tank. i have read that protein skimmer is not a requairement for a fish only tank but for the sake of less water changes i will get one. i looked at many different once and the prices very from $300 to $450. i like quality so my question is, would vertex omega 150 be enough or should a go with sonething bigger as reef octopus prime 200 or eshopps cone 200? or just get the aquamexx cone Co-2?
