Lighting Schedule

So I just added a Reef Bar (Actinic Blue) for moonlight/supplemental lighting.

Just wondering what lighting schedule you guys recommned. My main lights (Kessil A150w's) run from 4:45pm - 11:30pm.
As of now I have the moonlights set to go on from 11:00pm - 7:am.
Is that okay?

Im following this thread because I wasnt sure about the total blackout or moonlight thing neither.

That should be fine. I don't think it makes much of a difference if you have a blackout period or not. If you are one of those replicate the ocean people the ocean, especially shallow water doesn't really get pitch black. The stars and moon does a pretty good job of lighting up the ocean.

Yeah, I wouldn't have blackout time cause it's pretty well lit come 7am.

I guess what I would really like to know is can I leave the moonlight light on all day instead of having it on a timer. The blue in combination with the kessils looks really nice.

Pretty sure you can leave it on all day. I used to do that moonlight thing, but it was too bright for me and my tank is in my bedroom.
