fairy wrass in overflow

my fairy wrass has been living in my over flow for about 3 weeks icant get him out and sometimes he goes missing i have no clue where he goes i have a pair any suggestions

Ooooh thats a tiff one what kind of over flow is it and how much space do you have under the stand and how big is the wrass

He goes missing in your over flow, does that mean you can't find him in there sometimes? If that's what you're talking about thend that's pretty common. He probably hanging by a pipe and you Just can't see him.

yea its a 120g he lives in the left over flow

nah he goes missing i look around the pipe i think he goes in and out the overflow some how

Probably have to be prepared for a mess and drain your overflow

Shut off the return pump, let the overflow drain down, scoop/siphon out some of the remaining water, and you should be able to get him out!

Wins after you get it out. Kathy gave me a suggestion to prevent this. I put a dry rock on the screen cover directly over the overflow section. Haven't had wrasse in overflow since. Then agai. If do t have screen cover won't work unless you cover the overflow section somehow

had the same problem with my wrasses and smaller fish...I put a piece of acyrlic over the top and plastic mesh covering the teeth...
