tank upgrade live/dry rock

I am in the process of a 100 gallon upgrade from a 30 gallon.
My 30 is packed with live rock fish and frags
I also have additional dry rock to add to the 100.
Should I add the dry rock to the 100 and wait out the cycle or should I add some live rock andtank water from 30 then add dry rock?
The new build also has a 40 gallon sump I could put rock in.

Hey man. I would put sand and live rock from the existing system because its already established. You will not have to go through a cycle period

Bare bottom. In 30. And also going bate nottom in new build.
I may pit sand in sump/ fuge

When will your new biuld be ready?
You could also put your dry rock in a brute bucket and cycle it in there for a few weeks?

I'm still very new to the hobby ( approx 6 months) but I second the idea of getting that rock into water asap. If u have a small rock in your established tank throwing it in with the rock will be beneficial.

I do have the dry rock in a container wich I have been adding my 30 water to.
I think I my put that in the fuge section now and just circulate the sump

Reefoman tank 100g. Vertex 170 skimmer. 42 g. Ecotech sump/ fuge. Jeboa 6000 return pump. Two jumbo brs reactors will go behind wall, driven by second jeboa. Vertex dosing system. ATI hybrid t5 led.
lighting. Tunze top off. 1/4 hp chiller On stand by if needed.
Gonna paint the back glass and start a thread.
