So today, I got a couple of pictures sent. And the tank isnt doing so well all of the sudden. 3 SPS frags died over night, and the water is foggy. Everything else seems to be fine. Any ideas of why this may have happened? I got 3 new fish added onto this aquarium as well as a whole bunch of snails, hermit, and crabs, and it happened 2 days after I added them.

This is my tank.

Are you dosing anything? Really high ALK can cause cloudiness. Also check if any inverts died, if so, remove them. Do some big water changes.

Not much information to go on, so, here is a guess.

The rapid introduction of animals caused a spike in ammonia levels, possibly a lethal amount. The cloudiness could be a bacteria bloom from the ammonia or in response to dying and decaying animals. Maybe the coral are not dead but retracted. Could they be exuding something that is clouding the water or causing a bacterial bloom?

Let's see what the others think.
