I am in need for a paint that is reef safe. Id like to paint a piece of pvc pipe. The pipe will be then submerged in my reef tank. People say krylon fusion but I am extremely reluctant till I hear from krylon directly whom I reached out to today. Anyone have any experience?

Just to let everyone know. I spoke with Krylon directly and this is the response I received.
Dear Phil,

Thank you for taking the time to contact Krylon. We appreciate your
interest in our products.

That is not true. It will not hold up being submerged in water. You will
need to use a marine grade paint. Unfortunately, we do not offer one.

I hope this information is helpful. Please respond back if you require
additional assistance.

Regards,

Craig

i have used krylon on small pieces of pvc under water. it was used for 1 1/2 years and never peeled off.
be care full with marine paint, some of them have toxic additives, especially the ones made for under water like bottom paint.

i would wait and see if anyone on here has used marine paint before.
i know members have used krylon.
marine paint has to be durable their fore i think toxic ingredients are needed. jmo
i know marine bottom paint that is made for under water use has additives so barnacles and such don't stick to it. it can't be good for a reef.
