Leather coral looks like it sick

Any suggestions of what is going on
Might have to cut it up I think..

scared it might release toxins into whole tank. This is a twenty inch leather that's why don't want to cut really nice piece.....any ideas let me know but planning to cut up Thursday. at least sick areas but main stack is 3 to 4 inch thick so must be tough...

Chucks of it are peeling off. It's not shedding or closed up other areas are OK and extended..

I just pulled piece out of power head.

sounds like its suffering from bacterial infections. try lugols dip n increase flow

Yes I think so also issue is its stuck to like three rocks at same time. Going to be difficult to get out of tank cause so big...
