I saw this at Petsmart today and thought it was pretty cool. Expensive though $10 for 10 gallons. Will be awesome if they come out with something even more concentrated. Like a gallon jug of the concentrate makes 500 gallons of water. Safe some space and time. They also claim no mix time. Which I will assume means very short mix time. I will be sticking to instant ocean for now.

1 gallon makes 9 gallons.

It is interesting. I would have thought at that concentation, calcium carbonate would precipitate. I will have to try to make a concentrated solution of Instant Ocean.

It is cheap compaired to pre mixed water. Expensive when compaired to normal instant ocean salt. I guess this product is kind of in the middle.

I think he meant a concentrated liquid form. Something like 1 drop per gallon.

crazy expensive compare to salt mix. I'd take the 200G box of IO at $40 bucks over $200 for for G of this stuff. Yikes!

I also agree that with DanP that the calcium carbonate would precipitate out at this concentration.
